The Flexible Connector for Complex Piping Layouts
The Stainless Steel Threaded Press-Fit 90° Elbow (B-Type) is engineered as the versatile problem-solver within our advanced piping systems. Unlike standard elbows, its unique one-socket, one-plain-end design provides engineers and installers with critical flexibility to navigate space constraints and connect to various system components, making it indispensable for custom and retrofit projects.
Core Function: Enabling Custom Configurations
The B-Type design is purpose-built for scenarios where a standard A-Type elbow (two sockets) is not sufficient. Its plain end allows it to be:
-
Welded directly to another pipe, valve stem, or equipment nozzle, creating a secure, hybrid connection point.
-
Threaded (where applicable) for connection to other threaded components.
-
Used as an extension piece to bridge gaps or create specific offset dimensions when combined with other fittings from our Threaded Press-Fit Fittings Series.
Optimized for Integration and Space Challenges
This elbow excels in tight or irregular spaces. By combining a 90-degree turn with a versatile connection end, it reduces the total number of fittings required for complex runs, simplifying design, minimizing potential leak points, and often lowering overall installation material costs.
Uncompromised Sealing at the Critical Junction
The socket end of this B-Type elbow incorporates the same precision-engineered internal threads and anaerobic adhesive technology as all our threaded press-fit fittings. When pressed onto a pipe, it forms the identical, permanent multi-barrier seal that is the foundation of our system’s proven 70-Year Service Life Certification and leak-proof guarantee.
Material Integrity & Universal Compliance
Fabricated from premium Stainless Steel 304/304L/316/316L Material, this elbow ensures lasting corrosion resistance. It meets the same comprehensive suite of international and industry-specific standards as the rest of our system, including the stringent DBJ51/T 023-2014 for gas applications, ensuring compliance and safety for critical projects.
