The Reliable Solution for 180° Flow Reversal

The stainless steel return bend is a butt-weld fitting designed to reverse pipeline flow by 180° in a compact U-shaped layout. Nonleak supplies long-radius and short-radius return bends for heat exchangers, boiler coils, steam systems, HVAC circuits and space-limited mechanical layouts. In addition, the product can be manufactured in 304/304L, 316/316L and duplex stainless steel according to project requirements.

Long vs. Short Radius Stainless Steel Return Bend

Choosing the correct stainless steel return bend depends on available space, pressure-drop requirements and equipment layout. In general, a long-radius return bend provides smoother flow and lower resistance. However, a short-radius return bend works better when the installation area is limited.
